When testers partner with sys admins to build out testing environments, there are many opportunities to build/maintain a more holistic solution for the test environment & for automation. This session explores these opportunities, including network, cloud, and virtualization tools that can be coupled with automation tools to provide some simple and more comprehensive development and testing capabilities.

Presenter Bio:
Viranand Strout has over ten years experience with companies such as Symantec, Riptech, and Microstrategy and is currently QA Manager for the Product Engineering team at MANDIANT, an enterprise IT security software company. She and her team are responsible for developing the QA strategy and building a virtual development and test infrastructure for delivering MANDIANT Incident Response (MIR), an enterprise solution enabling security professionals to quickly investigate/remediate security issues in large-scale networks.
